Pole Dancing Course Descriptions

Blush Pole Dancing courses run for 6 weeks and consist of a 1 hour class per week. Each class includes a warm-up, core strengthening and a cool-down with flexibility stretches. In each course you will learn a catalogue of pole moves, pole spins and you will learn how to put it all together in a fun and sexy dance routine. Only $170

Beginners

This course is for you if you’re an absolute beginner or if you feel you need a refresher in the basics of pole dancing. You will learn a fun simple routine to music that will include some dancing and some of your new pole moves. Once you’ve completed this course you will be a certified pole dancer!

Intermediate 1 & 2 & 3

This course is for those who’ve completed our beginners course, or those who have some previous pole dancing experience. Now that your strength and confidence is growing we will teach you a whole new catalogue of moves and spins and a sexy new routine in each course.

Advanced 1 & 2 & 3

This course involves more climbing and inverting moves, and you must be competent in inverting to commence this course. You will be taught a new routine, but students will be encouraged to develop their own style of dance and incorporate that into each routine.

Pole Dancing Classes

Pole Dancing Taster Class

This class will give you a taste for pole dancing and a taste for Blush Dance School. In this 1 hour class you’ll learn a few pole moves, spins and you can see for yourself what everyone else talking about! It will definitely leave you wanting more! $30 pp

Pole Styles Workshop

This 1.5 hr workshop will focus on dance choreography, based around the pole. This workshop will help build stamina and fitness when pole dancing. Each workshop will have a different routine and a different style, and is suitable for all levels of pole, but some pole experience is necessary. $30 pp

Pole Dance Practice

11am - 12pm every Saturday. No bookings required. Only $10 per 1hr session.

Burlesque Class Descriptions

Burlesque Courses

Burlesque Kitten Courses run for 6 weeks and consist of a 1 hour class per week. Each class includes a dance warm-up and a cool-down with toning stetches. In each course you will learn the history and the foundations of Burlesque through playful poses, shimmies and shakes, hip and chest isolations, undulations, glove peeling and Burlesque struts. You will also be taught the use of props and how to put it all together in a sexy provocative dance routine. Only $120

Burlesque Vixens Courses run for 6 weeks and consist of a 1 hour class per week. This course is a progression from our Kittens course, and involves more intricate burlesque moves, as well as elements of burlesque striptease. Only $120!

Burlesque Sirens Courses run for 6 weeks and consist of a 1 hour class per week. If you loved the Cherry Popping course and want to learn more, then this course is for you. This course involves performance instruction as well as costume making. Only $120!

Burlesque Workshop

Explore what it means to be a strong, sexy confident woman, with this 1.5hr workshop. Learn sexy burlesque dance moves and then put them all together into a sultry, flirtatious burlesque routine complete with props. Cost: $35

Fan Dance Workshop

This workshop will teach you the seductive art of fan dancing. The class foundations are in jazz ballet so you'll learn to accentuate the lines of the body in a flattering way whilst using the fans. Figure eights, teasing and kaleidoscopic shapes will be explored in this workshop. Cost: $35

Dance Workshops

These workshops run for 90 minutes and are all about having fun whilst discovering and exploring your flirtatious side

Blush Booty Workshop

Want to learn how to booty shake and shimmy just like they do in the latest video clips. In this class you will learn some sexy moves made famous by Beyonce, Rhianna, and Nicki Minaj. Then your instructor, SJ, will teach a fierce routine to one of these sexy ladies latest songs. The routine will include sexy booty moves as well as commercial jazz styled dance moves. You'll walk away attitude after this workshop!

Hula Hoop Workshop

This workshop will teach you how to move your body rhythmically while twirling a hoop around it! You will learn the basic skills of hoola hooping around your waist, legs and over your head and get a great workout at the same time. Cost: $30

Go-Go Dance Workshop

Go-go dancing is high-energy, great fun and basic! This energetic workshop will have you doing the Monkey, the Wahtusi, the Swim, the Hully Gully, the Jerk, the Twist and many more! Starting with a basic jazz warm-up, trademark go-go steps and finishing with a hip routine that will have you working up a sweat in no time! Cost: $30


Dance Courses

80s and 90s Flashback Course (Solid Gold)

Who wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer growing up? Who loves dressing up in leotards, fishnets, fingerless gloves and headbands? Lady Jayne will teach you some outrageous steps from TVs Solid Gold Dancers from the 80s and 90s.
Cost: Only $80 for 4wks of 80/90ss awesomeness!

Dirty Dancing Aerobics Course

This course is based on the Dirty Dancing Workout, and is aerobic based rather than dance based. This is an energetic workout which includes elements of salsa and dance. Each week you will learn a new workout to the classics from the soundtrack, including Love Man, Do You Love Me and Johnnys Mambo.
Cost: Only $80 for 4 week course

No dance experience necessary as these classes are designed for all levels. All you need is an open mind and a whole lotta attitude. Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable in, but feel free to dress up in theme!


Studio Hire

Our fabulous studio has 2 rooms that can be hired out for rehearsal times or for private practice times. 1 room is equiped with 8 poles and wall-to-wall mirrors, and then other room is eqipped with floorboards and wall-to-wall mirrors.

PinUp Photoshoot

This package includes:

* 4hrs with an Experienced Burlesque/PinUp Photographer
* Make-Up and Hair Stylist
* Champagne and Chesse Platter
* 2 sets and delivery of photos with in 2 days (20 images minimum per person) The participants should bring one costume/dress and a lingerie set so they have two different looks. Perfect for a girlie get-togethers or for intimate hens parties. Only suitable for 4 girls. Total Package Cost: $900 (or $225 each)
